Codility is an automated tool to assess programming skills. It enables recruiters without specialized IT knowledge to verify the programming skills of candidates in an automated manner. Recruiters can choose from Codility's library of tasks including programming, bug-fixing, and SQL, set the difficulty levels, and automatically send the challenges to the candidates. Customs tasks can also be built on the platform. It simulates a natural programming environment by allowing the candidate to compile and run code in the browser. Candidate responses are subsequently evaluated by the platform. Codility was selected as a winner of Seedcamp 2009 and TC European Startup Award 2010. Customers include Paypal, Samsung, and Electronic Arts.
