Gremlin provides a platform for testing the resilience of the IT infrastructure in an enterprise. The software is delivered as a service. It simulated attacks in various forms, such as stress and security. The resilience of the infrastructure to these attacks is observed and users are sent alerts in the case of a downtime. This helps them to proactively detect and eradicate failures before the actual occurrence. The issues identified include CPU/memory usages, network issues, and time drifts. The configurations for the tests can be done through an API. Additionally, it supports execution of scripts through a command line interface. Clients include Amazon, Netflix, and Salesforce. The company raised $8.75 million in funding from Index Ventures and Amplify Ventures, in December 2017.
