Eventbrite is an online event ticketing platform used to create events, sell tickets & manage registrations for events like book signings, networking gatherings, concerts, festivals, live sales, event attendance statistics, and conventions. Eventbrite also provides a mobile app and allows to share events. Event organizers are able to look up and check-in their event attendees off a guest list and validate ticket barcodes by using phone cameras. In 2013 Eventbrite was the winner of the Webby Award. Eventbrite has made two acquisitions namely Lanyrd and Eventioz. It has offices in multiple locations namely in Melbourne, Dublin, and Nashville.
